UPSETS OF 2016 CONTINUE

Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi, one of the worlds rational leaders is the latest victim of 2016 worlds political upsets,which are shaping the world order.Like David Cameron of UK,Renzi is resigning after terrible referendum defeat. The referendum was called as part of his plan to reform the constitution.The self-styled reformer is exiting the premiership,everyone is awestruck that he is leaving at the time when Italy and EU need him most. Cameron left, now Renzi ,who is next?No one predicts accurately but what we do know is that more EU leaders could face similar epical drama in the near future. EU menu of crisis is ballooning day in day out,not even one of these crises has been addressed fully,the folly with EU leaders has been prioritizing crisis management instead of not getting into the root of the matter.Now situation is getting worse,as a result,Europeans have plenty to worry about than the rest of the world,,especially after RenXIT.Apart from Merkel,Renzi was the only leader in Europe with a vision for the EU's future,Now he is out,Merkel who has been too busy with crisis-management might be forced to exit early because she will be left alone,she will not manage these unending crises.Worse, French leader who is suppose to give her support is busy addressing turmoil in his country,France has its own internal crisis,the rise of Front National eurosceptics. Generally EU faces a gloomy future, Italy has not fully recovered from financial crisis,with REXIT, thing the threat of a banking crisis is now a possibility. Italy is the euro currency's third largest economy and any financial instability in this country could send the entire Euro zone into another financial collapse similar to the one witnessed in 2008.This situation of Renzi exit has another bad effect,it will emboldened anti-establishments not just in Italy but across the Europe.It could tilt vote in favor of far right wingers in France,Germany and the Netherlands,countries which are holding their elections in 2017.Economic stagnation,migrant crisis and terrorism have been blamed for the rise of these extreme parties but the reality is,these crises are not unique to EU alone,South America,Africa and some Asian countries are facing similar situations too,these right wing parties are just populist capitalizing on the situation to usher in white supremacy.It is a fact.Let no one lie to you that it is not about that,EU feel threatened by the ever expanding Africa and Arab world.What is shaping up there is quite dangerous,it looks like electorates are paving way for the rise fascism again.Replacing rational leaders,with supremacists is alarming to say the least.In my own perspective, the EU and US seem to have misstep ed along its trajectory,with no reverse, THEY are sleepwalking perhaps into a dangerous pit ,sort of an abyss ,possibly fascism, They seem to be embracing far right wing leaders, without giving much thought, situations prevailing in the world today especially in EU and the America's are reminiscent of those that existed during pre-Hitler days, soon we will witness the rise of a super Hitler,before reality dawns, I'm worried it will be too late for us.
