Top Kalenjin comedy group “Propesa” was on Tuesday hosted by Senator Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen in his office, here in Nairobi.
We appreciate the Elgeiyo Markwet senator for recognizing and appreciating the talents that we have in our Kalenjin land. I hope we shall get to see more of this from our "waheshimiwa".
The all-time hilarious comedy group is comprised of these 4 main characters from Bomet County;

Lakini as Propesa likes to say, hapo unaeza weka double chance kwa sababu ukiona leo alikuwa na Kipchumba, huwezi jua kule mbele….

RAILA CAN NEVER BE PRESIDENT; ROBERT ALAI

LEFT: CORD leader Raila Odinga RIGHT: President Uhuru Kenyatta

Senior CORD Blogger and supporter Robert Alai Onyango got many Kenyans by surprise when he said that his Boss, who's the CORD leader and presidential hopeful Raila Odinga will not beat President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 general election.

A Facebook post he posted on Sunday angered a section of CORD supporters who now claim that Alai has been slowly supporting the government since he was last seen seated next to the president at a past function in statehouse with some alleging that he was given a “brown envelope”.

Hours later, Alai took to his Facebook again to respond to his fans' reactions to his post saying and I quote; "It's not my business to care how you react to what I write. I am giving my free advice and opinion. So beware."
"Nobody bought or will buy me. Anyone thinking that you are objective or liberal only when you support their ethnic god is not serious.
Raila is still my candidate for the Presidency. I love Raila to death. Problem is that I have to tell him the truth." Alai added.

Alai who's one of the most influential and prominent bloggers in Kenya, loved and hated in equal measures,  has in the past been a fierce critic of Jubilee government. In 2014, he was arrested and charged in a Nairobi court, for calling president Uhuru Kenyatta an "adolescent president".

THE MAN GIVING SOIN/SIGOWET M.P SLEEPLESS NIGHTS

Hon. Ronoh with Kericho senator Hon. Aaron Cheruiyot
Jonathan Ronoh (popularly known as Junior) is by no chance a figure to watch come the much hyped and heavily contested Soin/Sigowet constituency politics. The 32 year old (BCom Hons) graduate from Moi University is also an Alumni of Soliat Boy's High School and Kapchebwai Primary School. He is also an accredited Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA).

“Junior”, a Businessman in logistics industry and a Father of two, hails from a humble family in Kapchebwai, Koitaburot location Soin division, Sigowet/ Soin constituency.
The big hearted youngster (as most of those who know him would tell you) is no doubt the man giving political bigwigs from the region sleepless nights due to his unmatched simplicity in handling issues that has over a long time remained far-fetched dreams to the locals.

Hon. Jonathan Ronoh holds a clean record of a "nobody's son" to a force to reckon with come the 2017 general elections. With his humble background known to many, he has walked the part trekked by a few to build a name to himself and to his backyard in Soin/Sigowet. He has in the past concentrated in empowering future generation through education sector developments and reforms and youth empowerment and motivation.

He has lined up a number of development agendas and visions for his constituency. The entire Soin now believes that Hon J. Ronoh is a guarantee to the entire South Rift in terms of political and development advocacy.
Here is a sample of what the locals had to say about this change maker, whom they have now branded him “Kerichotab Soin”.(Dawa ya Soin)
“He is a reliable servant and the people of Soin have banked on him.”
“Our region is great and we will never gamble again with pretense of big names to lead us. We will trust one of us who knows the sweetness of walking barefooted to school”
“Junior is a Man to Watch. Soin/Sigowet is up-beat of what lays ahead...The taste of being represented.”
If the current trend is anything to go by in Soin/Sigowet constituency, then this man, Jonathan Ronoh AKA Junior is no doubt the man headed for the top seat in Soin/Sigowet constituency; a seat that’s currently held by Hon. Justice Kemei who will also be seeking re-election come August 2017 general elections.
