FACTS & LIES SURROUNDING MOI UNIV VC STALEMATE

Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago has come under fierce attack by a section of Kenyans for allegedly "inciting" the Kalenjin community over the appointment of Prof. Ayiro the VC of Moi University. Mandago together with some other few legislators from the region including MPS Alfred Keter and Osca Sudi now risk prosecution over remarks they made on the issue. However, a senior lecturer at the UOE has sought to set the record straight concerning the VC stalemate. This is what he had to say:
~ ~
FACTS
  1. Prof Ayiro(Acting VC) is still the substantive Quality Assurance officer of Moi University
  2. He was appointed DVC Research and planning a four weeks ago when the substantive DVC was suspended
  3. The Council did Interviews six months ago and 3 names forwarded to CS Matiangi for appointment of which the now famous Prof Isaac Kosgey is part of the three.
  4. Prof Ayiro never applied nor was he interviewed but was picked after the Council forwarded three names of Current Acting DVCs for CS Matiangi to pick an acting VC as they continue consulting who among the three forwarded is fit.
  5. The Governors never demanded for a Kalenjin VC but how they over reacted after they got news of information about the delay to appoint a substantive VC was their undoing
  6. It’s just a coincidence that may be Prof Kosgei was ranked number 1 in the interview-something that we know not since he is among the three names forwarded...the CS may not have picked him after all. All Kenyans including Prof Kosgey and Prof Ayiro should be treated fairly.
  7. Kenyans should excuse and forgive the governors for their overreaction and instead find out the truth and stop calling Uasin Gishu and residents primitive and Syenzi.....
  8. Kenyans have not been fair and have been misreporting these facts.

In Kalenjin for those who don't get it, "Bagule" is a name used to refer to your age mates who underwent initiation (to manhood) the same year with you. They are not just your best friends but always like a brother to you.
Robert kipsang who comes Soba Area, Nandi County, got paralyzed due to a condition that affected his spine soon after completing his high school back in 2008 and since then he had been on a wheel chair.
Thank you Julius Yego.

CANDIDATE WHO SAID HE CAN’T WORK ON SABBATH QUALIFIES FOR CJ JOB

Justice David Maraga
Whenever we attend a job interview, we all seem to be an all 'yes man' just to please the panel. Given the question: Are you willing to work on Sundays (Sabbath days)? I am sure most of us will say a big 'Yes' just because we desperately need that job.

However, that was not the case for a Justice David Maraga. During an interview for the post of Chief Justice of Kenya, conducted by the Judicial Service Commission, the panel noted that the candidate was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA). On that note he was asked whether or not he would be willing to work on Saturdays if need be. His response got the panel by surprise: "It would be difficult for me to work on a Saturday" was his response.

The JSC has nominated Justice Magara for the appointment as Chief Justice. His name has been forwarded to the President Uhuru Kenyatta for formal appointment and thereafter forwarded to the National Assembly for approval by MPs.
6 out of 14 candidates had been shortlisted for the interviews. Maranga who’s 66 years old came top after beating 13 other candidates.

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy"

KERICHO ASPIRANT CAPTURED ON PHOTOSHOP PARTYING AT A CLUB

There is a photo going rounds on social media alleged to be of suspended NSSF Boss Mr. Richard Langat AKA RK who was "caught" partying hard at a night club in Nairobi.
That photo is a complete Photoshop according to IT experts who examined it in details. However, we must admit that the person who did the editing is a complete Photoshop genius but at the same time warn him/her against such actions as it could lead to breaking up of families. Mr. RK as we all know is a respected family man who has a wife and children.
The former NSS managing trustee who comes from Kapkatet, Bureti, Kericho County has declared his interest for the Kericho County governonr seat in the much anticipated 2017 general elections.  He's the man seeking to challenge the incumbent Kericho County governor Professor Paul Kiprono Chepkwony AKA Timbilwet as the next County governor.
Let me explain to you in these 4 simple steps, why we think that is a complete Photoshop:

1.  It looks like this was the original photo
Notice the guy on the photo is different, nad not RK.

2. Then we have this old photo of Mr. RK
This was taken while he was at NSSF.

3. So, someone took the photo in #2 above, 'cut' out the head and fixed it in the photo #1 above. Finally we have this.
4. And eventually the final product.

Now you understand how it happened?
Photoshop is cool, Photoshop is fun, Photoshop is legal, but we must always set limits! Ama namna gani?

Meanwhile, residence of Kericho County who were made to believe that it was a genuine photo, went online posting the photo. This is what some had to say:
