CASH & MEDALS FOR KERICHO 'SHUJAAS', COUNTY CONFIRMS OVER 200 CASUAL WORKERS

Residents of Kericho County led by the governor H.E Prof. Paul Chepkwony today joined other Kenyans in remembering and celebrating the heroes and heroines who fought tirelessly in struggle for freedom from the colonial rule and those who fought in different battles including the World War II.
The colorful Mashujaa Day ceremony which was held at the Kericho Green stadium was presided over by HE the governor.
Local old men and women war veterans couldn't hide their joy as the governor awarded them with medals and cash prizes.
The governor also announced that his government has confirmed over 239 county casual workers into permanent and pensionable county employees. The governor said that the employees had been serving for over 25 years now without clear terms of service.
