Chamgei FM extravaganza that had been scheduled for
Saturday, 8th October, 2016 has been moved to 16th
October following the death and subsequent burial veteran radio journalist Waweru
Mburu.
Waweru Mburu who was a journalist at Royal media’s Radio
Citizen, was the man behind the famous “Yaliyotendeka” morning program on Radio
Citizen. He will be buried on Friday, 7th in his farm at Punda Milia
in Maragua constituency. May his soul Rest In Peace.
Thousands of Chamgei FM fans, who were anticipating the big
event, have welcomed the decision by the station to move the event to the next
week. Chamgei FM is owned by Royal Media Services.
On Sunday, 16th October 6, 2016, all roads will
lead to the City of Champion, at the Eldoret National Polytechnic for the homecoming and celebration of our athletic heroes.
